Life or Death

In northern Syria, the most simple action can have devastating consequences. The flick of a light switch can mean life or death. As people who had fled violence returned home, they found their homes and villages laced with booby traps and IEDs.

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) tasked us with bringing the work they are doing to treat blast injuries in this region to the attention of the Irish public. I wrote the copy for this impactful direct mail piece, a departure for MSF who usually feature field photography in their communications.
