Zenia
Zenia, an offshoot of Zenith Insurance in the US, specialises in worker’s compensation insurance for small hospitality businesses. Art Director Louise Naughton and I were tasked with developing the brand’s look, feel and tone of voice.
The brand’s offering was all about simplicity, transparency and protection. I was inspired by ancient Greece when creating the brand name. Xenia is the sacred duty of hospitality. A key part of this duty was safety, which this insurance provides. Changing the x to a z was a subtle nod to the master brand, Zenith.
The tone of voice was confident, supportive, informal and simple, as were the brand guidelines that supported it. Louse and I worked together to create a brand guidelines document that would be easy for anyone to put in practice.
We then brought all of the elements together to create a website, promotional materials, customer service materials and more.
